Payment logistics
Secure client portal
Copays, deductibles, and other balances are handled through Clara's secure client portal.
Card on file
Clients can add a card to the portal, where payment information is processed securely.
Automatic billing
Charges can be processed through the portal after each session, helping keep billing straightforward.
Receipts by email
Receipts are sent by email so you have a clear record of payments.
Out-of-network support
If Clara is not in-network with your plan, out-of-network benefits may still help cover part of your care.
Pay through the portal — Client balances are handled securely through the portal.
Receive a superbill — Clara can provide a detailed invoice with the information many insurers need.
Request reimbursement — You can submit the superbill to your insurance company based on your out-of-network benefits.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, people who are not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate describing expected charges for care.
